Restaurant at Cadmos Village

Our story

Everyone needs a quiet break from time to time to indulge in local delicacies and enjoy the calmness of nature. That was our vision when we decided to open a restaurant at Cadmos Village. It is a small eco-oasis, nestled deep in beautiful oak woodland.

A secluded spot for all adventure, nature and good food lovers. As part of our philosophy in respecting nature and heritage, our restaurant’s cuisine is completely traditional.

We use traditional cooking methods (such as baking under a bell-like dome), local ingredients and organic fruit and vegetables from our gardens. Restaurant’s capacity allows us to be consistent in our quality – the covered terrace can accommodate up to 40 people, and the summer terrace additional 40.

If you were wondering how far this small paradise was, it’s a mere thirty minutes’ drive south of the exciting city of Dubrovnik.

It is a combination of breath-taking scenery and delicious local cuisine through which you can actually learn a lot about Croatian tradition.

The range of local produce will help you immerse in the culture and understand more about the life in the valley.

The selection of local wines from Konavle vineyards will also show you our deep respect and gratitude to the land and hard work of our vintners.

At the same time, it will make you feel that “joie de vivre” while enjoying that glass of wine and staring at gorgeous golden sun rays gently kissing the valley.

If we talk food a bit more in details, Cadmos Village eco-restaurant offers you traditional snack such as Dalmatian smoked ham (prosciutto) and a variety of tasty cheese.

Here you can find a very popular dish “peka” which is usually a combination of lamb and veal with vegetables, baked under a bell-like dome.

The result is probably the most succulent and tender meat you’ve ever tasted. We also prepare traditional barbeque with organic potatoes and vegetables.

It’s a really amazing spot to taste all these delicacies overlooking the Snježnica mountain and Konavle valley from a seven meter high terrace.

The restaurant is unique in so many ways, but the feature that makes us the most proud is that it is run by its own solar system.
